About The Race
The Superhero Dash 5K will be held on is on Sunday, September 14th at 8 A.M. The start and finish line is at Tate Student Center at the University of Georgia campus. This race features a 5k Run/Walk followed by diverse variety of performances and raffle drawings. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Multicultural Greek Council's philanthropy, the Boys and Girls Club.
All participants are encouraged to dress up as their favorite superhero or wear a cape to give them an extra boost as they run for the kids!
Purpose: To promote MGC’s motto of “Unity through Diversity” by having the UGA and Athens community come together to support the Boys and Girls Club of Athens.

Registration begins at 7 A.M, the race will start by 8 A.M, and performances will begin at 10 A.M.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Athens has provided a clean, healthy, and safe environment for youth ages 6 to 18 for over 50 years. Their after-school activities are designed to fully engage members in skill building exercises while allowing them to have fun. In addition, they provide the latest proven youth development programs with all activities supervised by trained professional staff members and dedicated volunteers. The staff works hard to provide positive experiences for youth on a daily basis. The Boys & Girls Club is an asset to the Athens community. It gives the youth of Athens a place to play, work and learn.
